Year-round, referral-based baby supply program
Life Lift Bundles
Customized baby essentials for new and expecting parents facing hardship. Each package is customized according to the child’s age, size, and the family’s documented needs.
Eligibility
At least 6 months pregnant, or has a baby 12 months or younger
Demonstrates a significant need for baby essentials
Has not received LWC Foundation assistance in the last 18 months
Lives in Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Hanover, Henrico, Hopewell, Petersburg, or Richmond
Annual Community Event
Saturday, October 24, 2026
Mother-to-Be Celebration
Our signature community celebration supports expecting parents facing hardship. The event provides baby supplies, local resources, and community connection in a celebratory setting that treats every parent with dignity.
Eligibility
At least 6 months pregnant, or has a baby 3 months or younger
Demonstrates a significant need for baby essentials
Has not received LWC Foundation assistance in the last 18 months
Lives in Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Hanover, Henrico, Hopewell, Petersburg, or Richmond
Referrals must be submitted by October 1, 2026.
Parents will be contacted directly if selected to attend.
Mental Health Support
Therapy for Moms Fund
Financial assistance to new and expectant moms facing barriers to mental and emotional care. We believe that every mom should have access to therapy. Approved funding is provided directly to the service provider.
Eligibility
At least 6 months pregnant, or has a baby 12 months or younger
Unable to cover co-pays for therapy or mental health counseling
Has not received LWC Foundation assistance in the last 18 months
Lives in Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Hanover, Henrico, Hopewell, Petersburg, or Richmond
